Experience & Accomplishments

  • Represented South Texas banks in lender liability litigation.
  • Turned a several hundred thousand dollar lender liability lawsuit against a bank into a $150,000 recovery for the bank.
  • Obtained a partial summary judgment for a manufacturing company when plaintiff was seeking in excess of six million dollars as damages for negligence, fraud and Texas Deceptive Trade Practices violations.
  • Represented clients in a variety of business and real estate matters.
  • Provided legal counsel regarding the formation and maintenance of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies.
  • Obtained a summary judgment on behalf of employer in age and race discrimination lawsuit.
  • Represented homeowners associations in enforcing deed restrictions.
  • Obtained a summary judgment for an engineering company wherein the plaintiff was seeking damages from an alleged defective design.
